Rotary in October and November 1996 spent $US 730,000 in vaccinating 3.5 million children in Eastern Europe alone !!

ENGLISH SUMMARY
The entry of Rotary into the Ukraine THE ROTARY CLUB OF KIEV
On 24 August 1991, the Ukraine ceded from the Soviet Union and became a Sovereign state.
On 9 May 1992 the Kiev Rotary club received its charter from the hands of R I President Rajendra Saboo. Previously overseen by Finlands Rotary District 1410, the French took over on 1 July 1993.
This Club is involved in 3 major projects all supported by other Rotary Clubs.
