ROTARY IN ESTONIA

The oldest town in all of the Baltics is the University town of TARTU .

WHO ELSE TO TELL YOU ESTONIAS HISTORY OTHER THAN

TARTU TOWN click (it is worth it !) … http://www.tartu.ee/english/history/tartu_hist.html
can take a little while

Click here for the the TARTU TOWN HOME PAGE http://www.tartu.ee/english/index.html
ROTARY made its entry into ESTONIA in 1932 . It was closed up by the Russians in 1940
ROTARY has reemerged after independence in 1990 with the Chartering of TARTU R C and TALLINN R C in 1991

CURRENT ROTARY CLUBS IN ESTONIA (see previous page)

NOW LET THE .ROTARY CLUB OF TARTU .TELL US THE STORY ………..

Just click ....http://rotary.tartu.ee/main.htm

AND if you haven't already clicked the District button , here is a comprehensive bit of information for all our Estonian readers (IN ESTONIAN )

Click EESTY ROTARY TEATAJA …..http://www.rotary.ee/

TO ALL VISITING ROTARIANS …..REMEMBER NOT EVERYONE IN RURAL ESTONIAN ROTARY CLUBS SPEAKS EITHER ENGLISH OR GERMAN ……..AND ROTARY IS STILL RELATIVELY NEW ….

You could therefore end up attending a Rotary meeting without understanding anything or making reasonable conversation with the locals ….TRY SMILES and GESTICULATION!!!

This is less likely if one attends the CITY CLUBS ….(editor)
